INSULATED CORE // UNIT: THERMAL-LT
Operational Range:
The lightweight, insulated engine of the Blanc layering system. Engineered for high-output pursuits in cold, dry conditions where thermal efficiency and durability are critical.
Architecture & Design Logic
Thermal Efficiency
The Why: We utilized low-profile insulation that retains core heat without adding bulk. It provides a superior warmth-to-weight ratio for dynamic alpine movement.
Reinforced Seam Taping
The Why: Engineered with taped seams to maximize wind resistance and structural integrity, ensuring this layer stands up to the rigors of climbing and ski touring.
Hydrophobic DWR Finish
The Why: Treated with a light DWR coating to shrug off spindrift and moisture. While highly water-resistant, it remains a breathable standalone outer for dry alpine air.
Kinetic Articulation
The Why: An athletic cut with specialized underarm gussets ensures the hoody moves with you, preventing "ride-up" during high-output activity.

Insulation Care Guide
1. WASH: Hand washing with a neutral detergent is recommended by the manufacturer to preserve fiber integrity. However, it can be machine washed on a cold, gentle cycle using technical detergent (similar to high-end technical softshells).
2. DETERGENT: Use a pH-neutral or specialized technical detergent. Avoid bleach or fabric softeners.
3. DRY: Drip line dry in a shaded area. Do not tumble dry unless on an extremely low-heat setting to reactivate DWR.
4. STORAGE: Hang in a dry place. Avoid prolonged compression to maintain insulation loft and technical seam performance.
