Refunds & Exchanges Policy
At Blanc Snow Apparel, every item is inspected before shipping to ensure it meets our quality standards. Returns and exchanges are only accepted where required under Australian Consumer Law.
Change of Mind
We do not offer returns or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect sizing, or personal preference.
Please review product descriptions, sizing guides, and images carefully before placing your order.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or significantly different from what was advertised, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under Australian Consumer Law.
An item may be considered significantly different if:
• It does not match the description, images, or specifications shown on our website
• The wrong item or colour was sent
• A defect prevents the item from being used as intended
Blanc Snow Apparel may choose to repair the item, replace it with the same or an equivalent product, or issue a refund, depending on the issue and as permitted under Australian Consumer Law.
What Is Not Covered
We do not accept responsibility for issues caused by:
• Incorrect washing, drying, or care
• Use of non-technical detergents, fabric softeners, or unsuitable cleaning products
• Use of the product in ways it was not designed for
• Alterations or repairs carried out by third parties
• Normal wear and tear over time
These issues are not considered faults and are not eligible for a refund, replacement, or repair.
Care Instructions
To maintain product performance and consumer guarantees, items must be washed using appropriate technical wash products such as Nikwax or similar specialist detergents designed for waterproof and technical apparel.
Failure to follow care instructions will permanently void any warranties and guarantees.
Major Failures and Coverage Period
A major failure is covered for up to 2 years from the original purchase date, provided the product has been used and cared for correctly.
A major failure may include:
• A serious manufacturing defect that makes the product unsafe
• A defect that would have stopped you from purchasing the item if known beforehand
• A failure that makes the product unfit for its intended purpose and cannot be reasonably fixed
• A product that significantly differs from its description or sample
If a major failure occurs within 2 years, you are entitled to choose a refund or replacement.
Wear and Tear
Normal wear and tear is expected with use and is not covered at any time. This includes, but is not limited to, fading, fabric thinning, minor seam wear, and cosmetic damage caused by regular use.
Repairs Outside the Coverage Period
If an issue occurs after 2 years from the purchase date, or is not covered under Australian Consumer Law, we may still be able to assist.
Repairs can be arranged at the customer’s expense, subject to assessment, availability of parts, and repair feasibility.
How to Request an Assessment
If you believe your item is faulty:
• Contact us within 7 days of noticing the issue
• Provide your order number, a description of the problem, and clear photos
• Do not return any items until you receive confirmation or instructions from us
All returned items will be inspected before any outcome is confirmed.
Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days after the item has been received and assessed.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
